It is winter in full swing. So a delicious oven dish can provide the necessary warmth. Today on the menu: oven dish with ham and sprouts. Ideal for turning a cold winter day into a warm culinary day!
Ingredients:
200 grams of ham cubes
4 eggs
400 grams Brussels sprouts (halved)
2 shallots (finely chopped)
200 ml light cooking cream
1 tablespoon butter
Pinch of salt and pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Fry the ham cubes, without oil, in a frying pan.
- Heat the butter in a wok pan and fry the shallots for about 2 – 3 minutes.
- Add the sprouts and fry them for 6 – 8 minutes while stirring.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Turn the heat down and add the cooking cream.
- Let it simmer for 3 – 4 minutes.
- Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Turn off the heat and stir the eggs and ham cubes through the Brussels sprouts.
- Pour the mixture into a greased oven dish.
- Bake for 25 – 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
