Here we are again! Another Friday has passed so time for a new recipe. Today on the menu: Cauliflower bread. Delicious as a snack and the bread is also low-carb and gluten-free.
Ingredients
1 cauliflower (in florets)
1 onion
1 tablespoon of sunflower oil (+ extra for frying)
150 grams cheese (matured, grated)
150 grams almond powder
1 tablespoon thyme (dried)
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 eggs
pepper
salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grind the florets of cauliflower in a blender or food processor.
Fry the onion in a little oil and add it – together with the almond flour, grated cheese, baking powder and sunflower oil – to the cauliflower. Season with salt and pepper.
Beat the eggs with the thyme and add to the cauliflower mixture. Mix well.
Put the mixture in a cake tin lined with baking paper. Place in the oven for 20 minutes until the top is light brown. The bread will keep, packed in a bread bag, for several days.
